Membership available for anyone with a serious interest in theology and/or philosophy (see website for options).
LJC term time: Monday: 9.30 am–5.30 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9.30 am–6.30 pm; Friday: 9.30 am–6.00 pm; Saturday: 9.30 am - 2.00 pm; Sunday: closed. LJC non-term time: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9.30 am–5.30 pm (lunch 1.00–2.00 pm); Tuesday: 9.30 am–6.30 pm (lunch 1.00–2.00 pm); Friday: 9.30 am–4.30 pm (lunch 1.00–2.00 pm).
An external lift provides step-free access from street level to the library. Please contact in advance the library to minimize delays in access in this way.

Only 8,000 book volumes and the latest journal issues are available in the reading room at the London Jesuit Centre/Mount Street. About 130,000 modern volumes are stored in west London and can be requested by those with full membership (not day, week, or monthly reference pass). About 80,000 volumes (including journals) are stored in Cheshire, and more than 700 rare books are in Oxford.
